What Are Pressure Line Filters?
A pressure line filter is installed on the pressure side of a hydraulic circuit, downstream of the pump, so it protects sensitive downstream components such as servo valves, proportional valves, and cylinders from particle contamination generated by the pump or already present in the fluid. Because this location sees the system’s full working pressure, pressure line filters use a robust cast body and are tested to the connection’s rated pressure before dispatch. Ours are available in simplex form for a single housing, or duplex form for uninterrupted filtration during element service.
