Madhav Filtcare & Hydraulics is a Welded Filter Element Manufacturer in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, supplying fully welded stainless-steel filter elements for demanding industrial filtration applications. Manufactured using stainless-steel wire mesh with welded media layers and end caps, these elements eliminate adhesive bonding and are suitable for applications involving elevated temperatures, aggressive fluids and demanding operating conditions.
Our welded filter elements are available in SS304, SS316 and SS316L construction with filtration ratings from 1 to 60 micron. Threaded, O-ring groove and closed-end configurations can be supplied according to filter housing and application requirements across Gujarat and India.
What Are Welded Elements?
A welded element is built from stainless steel wire mesh media with the layers and end caps joined by welding rather than by adhesive bonding. We manufacture these in fine construction, achieving filtration from 1 micron up to 60 micron, and in plain or twill weave for nominal filtration duty where an ultra fine rating is not required.
Why Welded Construction
Because the mesh layers and end caps are welded rather than bonded with adhesive, welded elements tolerate higher temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and high viscosity fluids that could soften or break down an adhesive bond over time. This is why welded elements are specified for process filtration in chemical and pharmaceutical plants, for high temperature and high viscosity fluid duty, for hydraulic oil and fuel filtration, and for aerospace and other critical filtration applications where element failure is not an option.
Materials and End Configurations

Applications of Welded Filter Elements
Welded elements are used for process filtration, high temperature and high viscosity fluid filtration, hydraulic oil and fuel filtration, and aerospace and defence related filtration, wherever the operating conditions are too demanding for an adhesive bonded wire mesh element, across Ahmedabad and Gujarat’s process and engineering industries.
Why Choose Madhav Filtcare for Welded Filter Elements?
- Fully welded construction with no adhesive bonding to fail under heat or chemical attack
- Available in SS304, SS316, and SS316L to match your fluid and temperature
- Threaded, O ring groove, and closed end configurations to match your housing
- Fine filtration down to 1 micron using imported SS wire mesh media
Frequently Asked Questions About Welded Filter Elements
Both use stainless steel wire mesh media. Standard SS wire mesh elements are typically assembled with adhesive bonding, while welded elements have the mesh layers and end caps welded together, which suits higher temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and more demanding process conditions.
SS304, SS316, and SS316L, chosen based on the corrosiveness of your fluid and the temperature of operation.
Threaded type, with O ring groove, and closed end configurations, to match your existing housing.
1 micron, using imported SS wire mesh media, for fine filtration duty
Yes. Because there is no adhesive bonding in the construction, welded elements are well suited to high temperature and high viscosity fluids where an adhesive bonded element might degrade over time.
